क्या होता है FPO?
FPO के जरिए Company अपना Follow on public offer जारी करती है. मतलब जो Company पहले से Share market में list है, वह Investors के लिए नए Share offer करती है. ये बाजार में मौजूद Stocks से अलग होते हैं. ज्यादातर ये Share promoter जारी करते हैं. FPO का इस्तेमाल Company के Equity Base को Diversified करने के लिए होता है.
IPO और FPO अंतर?
कंपनियां अपने Expension के लिए IPO या FPO का use करती हैं. Business बढ़ाने के लिए Fund की जरूरत पड़ने पर Companies IPO या FPO का सहारा लेती हैं. Cashflow की जरूरतों को पूरा करने या फिर Business बढ़ाने के लिए इस fund का use होता है.
IPO के जरिए Company पहली बार बाजार में अपने Shares उतारती है. इसलिए इसे Initial Public Offer कहते हैं. जबकि FPO में Extra Share को बाजार में लाया जाता है.
IPO में Shares की बिक्री के लिए Fixed price होता है, जिसे Price band कहते हैं. Company का प्राइस बैंड लीड बैंकर्स तय करते हैं. वहीं, FPO के वक्त Share का Price band बाजार में मौजूद Shares की कीमत से कम रखा जाता है.
इसको Shares की संख्या के हिसाब भी fix किया जाता है. आमतौर पर Company मौजूदा Market Price से कम कीमत पर इसे Offer करती हैं.
